VA Newsday

VA Newsday – it’s all about VAs… stories about virtual assistants,  virtual assistance and our web work lifestyle.  While we rarely have difficulty in finding stories to post here, we would love to hear from you.  All submitted stories will include a direct link to your original story.

So what’s a good candidate for a VA Newsday item?  Any of the following:

• Press Releases – May be edited for brevity if needed, but will be marked clearly as a press release.
• Media Clips – Were you on TV? Send a link to the video! Radio interview? Send that too.
• Training/Webinars & Teleclasses – Offering training on something of interest to VAs? Do tell.
• Events – Summits, meetups, coffee clatches, confabs – VA related of course.
• Organization News – Have a new local or interest-only VA organization? Please dish.
• Announcements – Seeking subcontractors? Expanding into new service areas?  Tell us about it.
• Product/Service Reviews – Love Basecamp?  Checked out the new version of Act!? Tell us how it helped your business.

So what’s NOT a good candidate for a VA Newsday item?

• Stories about people or things having no real connection with you as the story submitter.
• Nastygrams or other nattering nabalms of negativity. Duh.
• Items that aren’t related to VA life in any way

Please note that all submissions are subject to editorial review, and we don’t guarantee that we will run every story.  Some stories may be delayed or posted in roundup format where appropriate. We won’t provide an explanation about any editorial decisions, but we promise to be accurate. Ok, there’s your disclaimers.
