Breaking News

Here’s a great productivity tip for any virtual assistant or GTD fan: Time Boxing. Nora Rubinoff  of At Your Service Cincinnati, Ltd. recently posted this guide to scheduling your client work and your productivity/Getting Things Done reviews in your calendar. An excerpt:

Instead of working at a task until it is completed, you time box the task by setting a fixed period of time that you will work on it. You then continue to create boxes of time throughout your work week until the task or project is complete. For virtual assistants, this can be a very effective way of working on simultaneously managing multiple clients and their important action items.

Nora’s Time Boxing guide for VAs is very detailed and even features a visual sample of how it works.
