VANetworking 1/7 E-Seminar: CNN Called: How to Set Up Your Coaching Business So the Media Contacts You

VANetworking’s latest e-seminar is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan  7 – the topic is CNN Called: How to Set Up Your Coaching Business So the Media Contacts You.

The guest expert is Suzanne Falter-Barns,  a best selling self-help author, former  journalist and marketing consultant. Suzanne will be sharing her tips for getting the media to call you for interviews and profiles:

Recent studies show that 79% of all major media find their resources and story ideas from blogs and the Internet. So, yes, the major media really will call you… but only if your web presence has instant credibility and the ability to stand out from the crowded pack. This is what media and publishing pundits call ‘Platform’, and it’s critical to not only attracting key decision makers but impressing them, too. Platform also allows you to build your national audience and spread your message further, so it’s an important part of any serious coaching business.

I’m still getting over that the eSeminars at VAnetworking are free and I’ve been a member since October 2006. I have found there to be some really good speakers, and on current topics as well.

Getting my VAInsider membership at http://www.VAnetworking.com/vainsider is definitely one of the best investments I have made in my business. Seminars like this one with Suzanne are regular events at VAnetworking. The content is always well-researched and relevant to VAs like me.
