IVAA Opens Early Registration for 2009 Live Summit

IVAA announced yesterday that early-bird registration is now open for the 2009 Live Summit in Montreal set for April 21-24, 2009. Early registration is available until January 31st and offers a savings of $100. Also available for early-birds is a 2-payment plan.

The theme for the 2009 IVAA Summit is No Boundaries for Your Business… fitting for IVAA’s first Canadian event. The Summit will feature the very popular Dinner with Strangers event and a schedule of great speakers.

The Summit Committee is also seeking speaker proposals for a few open slots that remain. If you have expertise to share, be sure to check out the speaker proposal page.

As a personal aside, I attended my first Summit this year – it’s a first-rate event and wholeheartedly recommend it!

Andrea Kalli Joins IVAA’s Board of Directors

Andrea Kalli, of Andrea Kalli Virtual Trainer and Assistant, LLC, was recently named to IVAA’s Board of Directors to lead the Website Committee. Andrea will be replacing Nora Rubinoff, who steered the committee for a year and a half, but resigned due to a family illness.

Andrea is also a featured presenter at IVAA’s Online Summit on October 24th.

Details Posted for IVAA’s 9th Annual Live Summit in Montreal

IVAA recently posted new details about the much anticipated 2009 Summit. The IVAA Live Summit will be held in Montreal, Canada – a perfect setting for the “No Boundaries for Your Business” theme. While at this time there is only preliminary information posted about the speakers and schedule, there are full details available about registration, deadlines and the host hotel, the Hyatt Regency Montreal.

Additional information is available for American VAs regarding Canadian entry requirements, passport tips and travel options. An email update signup is also on the site for automatic updates as they become available.

IVAA Announces 3rd Annual Online Summit Details

The International Virtual Assistants Association (IVAA) recently announced details about its 3rd Annual Online Summit. This year’s theme, “Building Success through Education” will offer three separate topic tracks: Freshman, Tenured and Training Room. The Online Summit is scheduled for October 24th, 2008 and will feature three sessions per hour for 12 hours.

Registration is open to all virtual assistants – IVAA membership not required:
